Who is Angela Young?
Angela Young is a certified career coach and seasoned Sr. Talent Recruiter with a powerhouse story of resilience, excellence, and transformation. A proud graduate of Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana, Angela became a decorated state track champion—winning multiple state titles and earning national recognition in the 100m, 200m, and relay events. Her performance earned her a key to the City of Gary and a full-ride scholarship to run track at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN.
At Indiana State, she became an All-Conference sprinter, ranking among the top athletes in school history, and was later inducted into the Indiana Track Hall of Fame.
After college, Angela built a thriving corporate career, spending over 20 years as a Sr. Talent Recruiter in the biotech and tech industries, working with top companies like IBM, Salesforce. Roche, and Danaher. A three-time Bell Award winner and recipient of Danaher’s prestigious Spotlight Award, Angela brings a rare blend of high-performance mindset, business acumen, and heart to everything she does.
Angela is also a proud mother. Her son Frankie followed in her footsteps as a scholarship track athlete at Indiana State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the Scott School of Business. Today, Frankie works in sales within the Biotech and Life Sciences industry—carrying forward his mother’s legacy of drive and excellence.
Now, as a certified life coach, Angela helps clients confidently navigate career transitions, grow into leadership roles, and unlock their full potential—with the same focus, passion, and determination that made her a champion on the track, in the boardroom, and in life.
MY WHY
I coach because I know what it feels like to walk blindly into a future you're expected to build — without a map, without a mentor, and without a clue what direction to take.
As a first-generation college student, I didn't have access to career guidance, professional role models, or anyone to help me uncover my strengths and dreams. I chose paths by trial and error, not intention — and while I eventually found corporate success, I often wonder how much more fulfilling that journey could’ve been if someone had simply helped me see what was possible.
That's why I'm here now — to be the coach I never had.
My mission is to help people be intentional — whether you're choosing your first degree or navigating your third promotion. I help you align your goals with your values, your path with your purpose, and your ambition with a strategy that feels authentic to you.
